History
The Yancheng Office was established in April 1980, and was formerly known as the Yanzhang Jishou. In 1983, it moved to the second floor of Qianjin District Administrative Center and changed its name to Qianjin Jishou. In April 1998, it moved back to the current location of the 6th floor of the Yancheng District Administrative Center and was renamed the Yancheng Audit Office. The scope of service includes taxpayer services in the two administrative regions of Qianjin and Yancheng. Starting on January 1, 2003, the business tax of the two districts that had been collected by the Yancheng Tax Sub-office was collected by this Office. The four sections of Yancheng Office are the services section; individual income tax section; profit-seeking enterprise income tax, estate and gift tax section; and sales tax section.
