Introduction of Nanzih Office

History

Our predecessor was the Zuoying Service Office. Located at Zuoying District, it was one of 5 service offices that the Bureau established in July 1979. In July 1987, our office moved to the Administration  Building of Nanzih District, and we changed the name to Zuonan Office in order to provide income tax related services to both Zuoying and Nanzih Districts. In July 1993, the Bureau set up another  office at Zuoying District, and we were renamed Nanzih Office to serve Nanzih District's taxpayers. On January 1, 2003, the task of business tax collection originally performed by the Revenue Service Office, Kaohsiung City, as well as the addition of income tax and sales tax collection, came under the jurisdiction of the Kaohsiung National Tax Administration. In 2011, due to organizational adjustments, the Nanzih Export Processing Zone Office was abolished and merged into our office. After the merger, the two office space restrictions could not accommodate all personnel of the office. The 6th floor of the  administration  building of Nanzih District (6th Floor, No.264 Nanzih New Road, Nanzih District) is used by the Services Section, Individual Income Tax Section, and Profit-seeking Enterprise Income Tax and Estate & Gift Tax Section. The former site has set up the processing export zone service office (No.600-9, Jiachang Road, Nanzih District), and the Sales Tax section was stationed in the office to serve the people.In April 2021, in response to the rename of the Export Processing Zone as the  Technology Industrial Park, the Export Processing Zone Service Counter,Nanzih Office  was renamed as the  Technology Industrial Park Service Counter, Nanzih Office.

6. Handling of abnormal tax sales numbers, heavy overpayment, and refund of taxes.

7. Personnel, documents, archives and various general affairs management.

8. Other related service management matters.

Individual Income Tax Section

1. Declaration and receipt of individual income tax.

2. Review and approval of individual income tax cases and collection and refund of taxes.

3. Review of personal disaster loss cases.

4. Investigation and verification of rental income from non-self-owned houses.

5. Income survey and income verification of business practitioners, tutors, kindergartens and nurseries.

6. Application for collection, review, approval and tax collection and refund of individual real estate integration cases.

7. Other comprehensive individual income tax matters.

Profit-seeking Enterprise Income Tax, Estate and Gift Tax Section

1. Income tax settlement, final settlement and temporary payment declaration and receipt of profit-seeking enterprise income tax and estate & gift tax.

2. Review and approval of income tax cases of profit-seeking enterprise income tax and estate & gift tax, and collection and refund of tax.

3. Verification of Trust Income Declaration.

4. Investigation and verification of the case of reporting salary income.

5. Examination and investigation of withholding tax.

6. Review and examination of all cases reported by profit-seeking enterprises.

7. Review, verification and collection of application of inheritance and gift tax and cases from counter.

Sales Tax Section

1. Investigation and signature handling of establishment or change of business entity.

2. Business tax declaration and collection, review, verification and refund, tax collection and evidence collection.

3. Collection of commodity tax, tobacco and alcohol tax and issuance of commodity tax certificate.

4. Special goods and services for tax collection business.

5. Investigation of small business entities.

6. Submit for abnormal inspection.

7. Investigation of reported cases that violate the regulations on tobacco and alcohol tax and specifically selected commodity and services tax.

8. Uniform invoice check, tax register check and other annual routine checks.

9. Prevention, control and check of the business entities issuing false uniform invoices.

10. General service counter.

11. Receipts of various types of income withholding for companies in the Technology Industrial Park.

12. Income tax settlement, final settlement and temporary payment declaration and receipt of profit-seeking enterprise income tax and estate & gift tax for companies in the Technology Industrial Park.
