Introduction of Siaogang Office

History

The predecessor of our office was Lingya Office. It was divided into Siaogang Office in 1982. At the beginning of establishment, Siaogang Office was a joint office in Lingya Office. In March 1983, our office moved into the Cianjhen District Administration Center. On July 1,1984, it was renamed “Cianjhen District Administration Center”. We set up Siaogang Office separately at No. 265, Erling Rd., Siaogang Dist., Kaohsiung City 812, Taiwan (R.O.C.) on July 1,1985. It was moved to the sixth floor of the Siaogang District Administration Center, sharing a joint office with Siaogang District Office; Siaogang Branch Revenue Service Office, Kaohsiung City; Siaogang District Household Registration Office; and Bank of Kaoshiung Hsiao Kang Branch.

1. Tax payment service, full-function counter operation and issue of non-withholding certificate of agencies & groups.

2. Receipt, correction, return and handling of unreported cases of various types of income withholding materials.

3. Clearing up and transferring of overdue taxes and tax preservation.

4. Reporting of cases for the suspension or closing of professional practitioners.

5. Promotion and implementation of tax service, tax education and publicity measures.

6. Establishment and management of the unified number and tax register of non-profit enterprises.

7. Management of personnel, documents, archives and other general affairs.

Individual Income Tax Section

1. Handling the filing of application form of individual income tax return.

2. Examination and assessment of individual income tax return, and amount of additional tax levies or refund.

3. Examination and assessment of personal loss in disaster.

4. Survey and assessment of income from lease of non-self-use residences.

5. Survey and assessment of income from professional practitioner, cram school, kindergarten and nursery.

6. Handling the filing of application form of individual house and land transactions income tax return, examination, assessment and amount of additional tax levied or refund.

7. Other items related to individual income tax.

Profit-seeking Enterprise Income Tax, Estate and Gift Tax Section

1. Profit-seeking enterprise income tax, clearing accounts, and temporary collection of declaration applications.

2. Examination, approval and tax collection and refund of profit-seeking enterprise income tax.

3. Check on the declaration of trust income.

4. Review of cases of wage income reporting.

5. Withholding inspection operations.

6. Examination of various reported cases of profit-seeking enterprise income tax.

7. Hearing, verification, levy and collection of estate and gift tax declaration receipt and counter cases.

8. Other matters related to income tax, estate and gift tax of profit-making enterprises.

Sales Tax Section

1. Review of tax registration for establishment, change, suspension, resumption and closing of businesses.

2. Review, levy, correction, verification refund, and supplementary levy of business tax declaration cases.

3. Investigation of small business entities.

4. Abnormal check of business tax payment.

5. Prevention and check of business entities issuing false uniform invoices.

6. Compilation and verification of the winning list of unified invoices.

7. Check operation, including auditing of unified invoices and inventory of tax registrations.

8. Cargo tax, tobacco and alcohol tax inspection and the issuance of cargo tax licenses.

9. Special goods and services tax inspection business.

10. Investigation of reported cases that violate the regulations on business tax, cargo tax, tobacco and alcohol tax, and special goods and services tax.

11. Other sales tax matters.
